A big thank you to John Bishop and Becky Bishop, Glen Rucker and Barbara Joyce for helping Mike Hogge manicure the church grounds during the last mowing. Your time and work is greatly appreciated. The next mowing party will be Friday, May 28th, starting at 8:30am or when you arrive. We appreciate all who continue to keep the church looking good.
Confirmation Sunday (May 16th) was our first time for in person worship in well over a year. All praise to God for our ability to worship freely. Thank you, Pastor Chris for the message for our Confirmands. Thank you also to the Communications Team and the Media Team for all they do for us and for the global community. When we arrived home after church, I had a Facebook message from my sister, Susan, who now lives in Germany. Because of the work of the Media Team and the Communications Team, Susan was able to watch her Great-Great-Niece, Mallorie Holt, be confirmed at Wesley UMC in Greenville, Texas in real time! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you for all your diligence, dedication, perseverance, knowledge, and work to help spread the word of Jesus which helps to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
