The old man sat in the pew staring at a pulpit he could not see and sitting through a sermon he could not hear. “Why are you here every Sunday? You cannot hear and cannot see,” a fellow parishioner yelled in his ear. “I want Jesus to know whose side I am on,” replied the shaky old voice. Nothing speaks louder than a well-used pew. Its purpose is clearly defined and serves as a testimony to inspire others.
