JOY Day Trip to the Grapevine Railroad

Our next JOY Day Trip will be an excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, traveling from Downtown Grapevine to the Ft. Worth Stock Yards and back. This adventure takes place on Saturday, April 26. We will leave the church at 10:00 AM and arrive in Downtown Grapevine by 11:30 AM. Lunch will be on your own in Downtown Grapevine, which has a deli and a BBQ place within walking distance of the station. The train leaves promptly at 12:40 PM and will arrive at the Ft. Worth Stockyards Station at about 2:30 PM. You will then have 2 hours to explore the Stockyards and even see the longhorn cattle drive before returning to the train for a 4:35 PM departure and arriving back in Grapevine at about 7:15 PM. We should be back in Greenville between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. A donation of $20 will cover the cost of your train ticket, and donations must be made at the time of your RSVP. You will need to RSVP in the church office Monday through Wednesday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This will be a lot of fun and a great time of fellowship so don’t miss out!
